#UpNow Spotlight- Ron G. Montana
D.O.A (Dimension of Ascension)
D.O.A. has proven to be a very deep and well put together piece of art. The introduction track was a very deep poetic piece presented by Ron G. Montana. Throughout this mixtape are a few poetry pieces and each piece is more than excellent, they are perfect.
Each track on this mixtape is unique and lyrically organized such as Guide Me, Telepathy, Problem Solver, and Game of Life. These tracks are perfect for any lifestyle to relate to.
This mixtape has a few features from artists such as Universal Atom, Raven, Jayar Ewing and The Teronki. One of my favorite tracks on this mixtape is One Shot. This track brings two lyrical artists one by the name of Tank Da Machine from St. Louis to display bold sound. The lyrics displayed on this track is catchy and witty at the same time. This artist shows that the amount of features on a mixtape doesn't matter.
In regards to all mixtapes being released from unsigned artists from the Midwest, D.O.A. has definitely earned a credit of being one of the best project to be released in the last quarter of 2013.
We asked Ron G. Montana a few questions in regards to his latest mixtape.
DaVisionaire Staff:What inspired the Title of the mixtape?
Ron G. Montana:My inspiration for the title was me ultimately wanting consistent growth and elevation I'm always in my own realm of thought so I title it Dimension of Ascension. I like thinking outside the box.
